The Richard Gibbs Driving School teaches Safe Driving as a Life Skill.
The philosophy of the school is one of Defensive Driving, as recommended by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). All pupils will be shown how to understand and respect other road users as well as being taught good driving skills so as to get the best out of their driving years.
As a pupil of the Richard Gibbs Driving School, you will follow a prepared syllabus that will guide you through the required elements needed to pass both your theory and practical tests, as well as the pass plus course. You will learn at your own pace in a way that suits both nervous and confident pupils. Only when you are ready will you move onto the next stage.
With the emphasis of the course being on defensive driving, we strive from the very beginning of the course to concentrate on the basic driving skills. Once learnt these skills will form the basis of all future driving and will assist in the creation of a good all round driver who is safe and knowledgeable on the roads.
All driving lessons will be carried out in a red Mitsubishi Colt with dual controls.
